Non-accessible content

Non-compliance with the annex

Content not covered by the regulations

Third-party content that the parish does not create or control: videos on YouTube and articles on other websites linked from this website.

Preparation of this statement

  • Date the statement was prepared: .
  • Date of the last review: . We review the statement at least once a year, by 31 March.
  • The statement is based on a self-assessment by the website administrator, with automated tests (axe-core, WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2, levels A and AA) run on every change to the website.

Accessibility features, limitations and other information

  • The Accessibility button in the header of every page: high contrast (yellow and white on black), text size (A, A+, A++), underlined links, wider text spacing and Read aloud – the page is read by your browser’s speech synthesiser (for people with low vision or reading difficulties). The settings are remembered only by your browser.
  • The website works with screen readers (e.g. NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack) and has a “Skip to content” link, structured headings, image descriptions and labelled form fields.
  • The website can be zoomed to 200% in the browser without loss of content; on a phone it does not require horizontal scrolling.
  • Text colours have WCAG AA contrast; dark mode follows your device settings.
  • Announcements and Mass intentions can be printed on A4 paper.

Keyboard shortcuts

The website has no shortcuts of its own – standard browser shortcuts work. The whole website can be used with a keyboard: Tab moves to the next element, Enter or Space activates it, and Esc closes the Accessibility panel and the menu.
